Position Overview
Company: Leading Czech company specializing in the domestic and international wholesale of commodities, specifically raw materials for the metallurgical industry.
Role: Sales Manager
Location: Říčany, near Prague. Easily accessible from Prague by car, train, and bus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Buy and sell commodities based on market supply and demand within the alloy and metallurgical sectors.
- Engage in customer negotiations, including the drafting of price calculations and sales proposals.
- Conduct supplier negotiations, handle demand forecasting, and secure commodity purchases.
- Lead and coordinate team efforts to ensure timely order deliveries.
- Oversee contract management, order processing, and price calculations.
- Collaborate closely with the finance, logistics, and production departments.
- Cultivate and enhance business relationships with both customers and suppliers.
- Identify new business partners through market analysis and potential acquisitions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma considered.
- Proficiency in Italian and English (both written and spoken). Additional language skills in German or Spanish are a plus.
- Strong PC skills, particularly with MS Office.
- Pleasant and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
- Attributes: Performance-driven, stress-resilient, creative, analytical, logical, diligent, and responsible.
- No prior industry-specific experience is required due to the niche nature of the field.
- Must possess a B category driver's license.
